Description

Here is my application for one of my OCs to this wonderful group about a school for heroes and villains.
            :iconheroic-academy:

Name: Jamie Lee Lewis AKA "The Seer"

Age: 18

Orientation: Straight

Hero or Villain: Villain

Powers/Abilities: She is capable of precognition and remote viewing.  She's also learning scrying as a more controlled method of using her precognition skills.

Strengths: She can be quite nice.  She loves animals, particularly rabbits and white mice.  Jamie is a hard worker as well as a decent student.  She follows orders well.  She can be very sympathetic to certain people and causes.

Weaknesses: She is sometimes too shy or has difficulty with her self-esteem.  She can fall prey to bad influences, like the Ice Beasts Morrigan and Tiamora Sinclair or other villains crafty enough to fool her into thinking they are merely misunderstood or abused.  Also if they play on her own self-esteem issues they can sometimes convince her to do things she wouldn’t ordinarily do.

Personality: Jamie is sort of complex.  As I've mentioned throughout her profile in various places she's... sometimes shy, has somewhat low self esteem, can be quite nice if she likes the person, is rather spoiled, is a hard worker, decent student, follows orders well, really wants people to like her, not much of a warrior, a bit girly, not truly evil, and pretty much everything else is in here somewhere.

Hobbies: Ice skating, reading fantasy novels, snow shoeing into Ice Beast lands to see Morrigan, horseback riding, ballroom dancing, karate, and stargazing

Likes: Experimenting with fashion, designing clothes, classical music or movie soundtracks,
winter, flowers of all kinds, the colors white and green,  hair bows, fantasy films, french bread, dark chocolate, hot cocoa, making new friends even though she’s a bit shy and has trouble trusting anyone 100% except Morrigan

Dislikes: Fur coats, summer vacation, green beans, broccoli, her family, heroes who hurt villains or Ice Beasts, and bugs

Best Friend(s): Morrigan is her only real friend at current.  On the evil side she sort of likes or would like to get to know… Evil Amber AKA Zee (she defied convention and married an Ice Beast), Erebus Ayers (just seems like a nice guy who is uncomfortable with his family just like her), Jade Summers (she lends her aid to another ‘species’ just as Jamie helps the Ice Beasts), and Ava Robinson (they share a few of the same hobbies and she is interested in the idea that Ava wants nothing to do with the age old feud between heroes and villains).
Heroes she can stand or might want to get to know a little better are… Michael Flynn (he is shy and unintimidating, he’s also friends with several villains), Scarlett Johnson and Bennet Clark (she’s heard they’re kind to villains as well as fellow heroes), Apollo Fabre (his boyfriend is a villain), The de Clare Siblings (Natasha has psychic abilities like Jamie and Emeric is neutral like Jamie would occasionally like to be), Scott Murdock and Rosabel Lilyway (they are rumored to just be nice people who will be friends with anyone, already friends with Jade and Rael).

Enemies: Rael Kess (rubs her the wrong way and his flirting makes her uncomfortable), Clarissa Wills (she’s scary!), Aria Tyler (too loud, outspoken, and a bit intimidating), Beatrice Jackson (seems pretty crazy and unkind).

Significant Other: No one right now

Fun Fact: Her original concept came from an Adoptable I got from funnies50 and Candy-Cane-xo.  I needed a use for her and suddenly I thought she’d make a great minion for my Ice Beast sisters.

Backstory: Jamie Lee Lewis was born into a very wealthy family in California, USA.  None of them had any powers so you can imagine their shock when they discovered their 14 year old daughter was capable of seeing what was happening in faraway places and not only that but seemed to be able to predict the future!  From time to time she would fall into trances and predict everything from the election of a president, to a terrorist attack in some foreign country, to the death of pets and family members.  No one could understand how she was doing it and her family began to be afraid, wondering if perhaps she was even somehow causing it.  What could they do?
They tried everything and spoke to everyone they could think of.  All manner of doctors and psychiatrists were contacted but to no avail.  Her parents got in touch with reputed psychics and fortune tellers but none of them could understand it either.  They were losing hope when finally someone told them about a rumored school for children with bizarre, unexplained powers over in England.  At first the Lewis’ were skeptical but with Jamie’s powers getting more and more powerful and the frightening trances happening more and more frequently they decided to give it a try.                                                                                                                             The minister’s at Heroic Academy agreed to meet little Jamie.  They concluded that she did indeed truly have psychic powers, that it was not some sort of lie or hoax by the girl.  They said they would be willing to enroll the child in the school but only if her parents agreed to sign her up as a villain.  You see Jamie, coming from a rich family and one that was afraid of her as well, was a rather spoiled child.  She could be very sweet and sympathetic to certain people but if people frightened her, yelled at her, tried to suggest that she was lying about her powers, or occasionally if she just didn’t get her way, she would fly into horrible rages!  Her powers weren’t particularly deadly or anything but she’d been studying karate since she was very young and could be dangerous that way, particularly because her precognition sometimes allowed her to see what her opponent was going to do and evade their attack.  She simply wasn’t stable enough to be considered a hero.  Besides, she was only able to get along with certain people.  A hero has to be able to deal with pretty much anyone, at least to some extent.
Jamie joined the academy later that year.  As was to be expected, she struggled to fit in, even with the villains.  Her shyness got her mocked by many of them, as did the fact that her powers weren’t very useful for fighting.  She wasn’t good for much other than a spy.  She wanted to make friends… sometimes.  It mostly depended on her varying mood and on who the person was.  Heroes often didn’t like her because she was a villain, because she could be spoiled, and for the same reasons the villains didn’t care for her.  It was very frustrating for the young teen!                                Finally the first summer vacation arrived and Jamie watched as everyone packed up their things and got ready to go home for a while.  When no one arrived to pick her up by that night, she questioned the staff and learned that her family did not wish to have her back for any holidays, vacations, etc. even the summer!  The girl was crushed!  First her parents has taken her to a million doctors who did all sorts of tests on her and rarely ever explained what was happening to her.  Then they became genuinely afraid of her and would avoid being around her at all costs.  After that they dumped her at this stupid school where no one liked her and now they didn’t even want her to come home anymore?  How could they hate her so much?  Well there was only one response to that as far as Jamie could see.  She would hate them back, even more than they hated her!
That night the young psychic ran away from the academy.  For days, she trudged through the marshlands surrounding the school.  She had no idea where she was going or what she intended to do but she had no intention of staying at that ridiculous academy!  Somewhere there must be someone who could feel some affection for her regardless of her powers!                                                               Whether it had to do with her being psychic or just dumb luck, she never knew but eventually Jamie stumbled upon a beautiful village that appeared to be made mainly of ice and snow, even in the summer heat!  Standing just outside a stately mansion was beautiful woman with blue skin and black hair.  She had scarlet eyes and a navy blue and black ball gown on.  Ordinarily the girl would have been curious what this woman was doing dresses so formally and in such a heavy gown in the middle of summer but just then all she wanted to do was beg her for something cold to drink.
The lady’s expression was as icy as the buildings around her but when she looked into the eyes of the child pleading with her and saw how sunburnt and miserable she looked, even her hard heart cracked.  She introduced herself as Morrigan Sinclair, a Monsterium, or an Ice Beast as they would have called them at school.  She took Jamie’s hot hand and led her inside a building that was amazingly cool, nearly cold, and sat her down in a luxurious armchair before bringing her a glass of ice cold water.  She also brought a cool cloth and placed it on the teen’s forehead.
As they sat together talking Jamie explained who she was, where she had come from, why she was running away, and how she felt about the Heroic Academy.  Morrigan’s scarlet eyes glittered as she listened closely to everything the little human said.  This was very interesting!  For the moment, though, she said nothing other than to offer the girl a bed for the night.
As time passed, and Jamie was with the Ice Beasts for most of the summer, she grew close to “Mistress Morrigan”, as she called her.  This lady seemed to have some sympathy for her and wasn’t afraid of her powers in the least.  In fact she had powers of her own, nearly all the Ice Beasts did.  She even seemed to sort of like having Jamie around.  They both loved ice skating, winter, stars, and fashion.  They both liked animals.  Most of all though, they were both passionate and sympathetic to the few people or causes they believed in!  Jamie had finally found a friend.
The other Ice Beasts were a bit different.  Some were decent enough to her, even though they were virtually all pretty cold (pun totally intended).  Some were downright nasty to her because she was a human and because she came from that accursed school.  Most though were just indifferent and ignored her.  Still, it was better than being feared for her powers and being disliked by virtually everyone.
Jamie quickly found out that Mistress Morrigan had a sister whom she calls “Lady Tiamora”.  She was quite a bit different from her sister.  She really didn’t care one bit about the child but because of what Morrigan had told her about Jamie’s past at the school, Tia put up with her.  She wanted to send little Miss Lewis back to school as a spy.  The Ice Beasts had long been in conflict with the school.  Any information they could get about it and the kinds of people that reside there could be beneficial to the cause of getting rid of it.
Jamie, of course, had balked at the notion but was quickly convinced by the sisters.  They needed her help.  She could be the key to the undoing of a school that taught kids to hate Ice Beasts and fight villains against heroes.  They explained how a group of so called “heroic” assassins had murdered their parents and they certainly weren’t the only Monsterium to have died in the conflict over the years.  Didn’t she want to see this stopped?  She absolutely did!  Ice Beasts, or more specifically Morrigan, were the only people who had been kind to her and she would do anything she could to help them!
Jamie is now 18 years old.  Much has changed.  She has grown kinder and a bit more sympathetic due to finally finding friendship.  She is still rather spoiled but she rarely has any temper tantrums anymore.  Morrigan and Tiamora refused to stand for that sort of behavior while she lived with them, as she does every summer now.  She would be frozen in place like a statue until she calmed down and was able to act like a civilized being.
She has gotten involved in several clubs and activities and is more willing to attempt to make friends with people, if she suspects they might have something in common and be trustworthy, though she still trusts no one 100% except Morrigan.  She doesn’t hate school the way she did before.  Now it’s just a good place to get an education.
She is, however, still a spy for Morrigan and Tiamora.  She still values Ice Beasts more highly than people.  Her goal in life, like Morrigan’s is to fight for the equality of Monsterium.  She, however, is not as ruthless in this goal as the sisters are.  Jamie couldn’t bring herself to kill anyone, hero, villain or civilian in this battle.  The kids were right about her years ago.  Jamie just isn’t an evil warrior.  She’s simply a good spy trying to please the only person she ever truly cared for!

Her Symbol: Psychic  or :telepath:
